My paintings evolve through the process of using textures, paints, brushes and Palette knife.
Through my abstract organic artworks I try to encapture the light, harmonious energies, colours and rythms of nature.
This painting was inspired by the myriad of purples and blues in the water and sky.
I use only the best materials – premium (Loxley) canvasses and quality paints by Winsor & Newton.
The frame is made from sustainable wood from managed forests. Gallery Wrapped Canvas. Unframed-Ready to hang as sides are painted.
Titanium White – Cadmium Yellow – Violet – Ultramarine blue – Titanium buff white –
The painting will appear to change when viewed in different light. The main colours are a moody mix of violets, blues and the creamy earth colours with some palette knife work and texture.

Original painting on a chunky canvas 12″ x 12″
This little painting was inspired by the round the island yacht race, the boats waiting patiently at the start. I used the marbling effect with numerous glazes to give the feeling of movement in the water and sky.

Britain’s Magical Water land’.
The Broads is a member of the international family of National Parks. Its unique landscape of shallow lakes and rivers is renowned for wildlife……
This is my favorite place to sit quietly alone with nature, enjoying the Dragonfly,Kingfisher,Water Voles and a myriad of other beautiful Broadland creatures.
On hazy days of summer,by the waterside a dragonfly sits.
In hues of green this perfect scene, whilst a butterfly flits.
A cadence of sublime sound emerges from this sector.
Song of birds and buzzing of bees, busily collecting nectar.
