This is a Tradigital painting using my photo of the Wherry boat as guidance and I painted the river etc; on my Wacom Bamboo Tablet. It took hours of painstaking work but I thoroughly enjoyed it! I wanted to create a peaceful scene of the Norfolk Broads and this is the last Wherry called Albion.

In this art piece I wanted to portray the ever changing ocean under the southern Spanish skies that are so beautifully lit and reflected in the flowing water below. So the main colours are shimmering blue and gold with some palette knife work and texture. An atmospheric, abstract seascape. The ocean is always an inspiration and I love working with abstract forms to portray the myriad of emotion it stirs.
